Export Packaging for Aluminum Windows and Doors

Plan safer export packaging for aluminum windows, sliding doors and oversized entrance units with project marks, protection and loading coordination.

Windows and doors combine glass, finished aluminum, moving hardware and project-specific dimensions. Export packaging therefore needs to protect surfaces and edges while keeping units identifiable and practical to unload.

01

Plan packaging before production finishes

Packaging choices depend on unit size, glass weight, container type, unloading method and destination handling. Oversized sliding panels, entrance doors and glazed units may require different rack positions or separate protection.

02

Protect and identify each unit

Use protective film, corner and edge protection, separators and secure restraints appropriate to the product. Project marks should correspond with drawings or the opening schedule so installers can identify units without unnecessary unpacking.

03

Coordinate loading and documents

Confirm package dimensions, weights, loading sequence and container plan before dispatch. Packing lists, package marks and photo records make receipt and site distribution easier for international project teams.

04
